Atlantic's defense and standout shooter Zoey Kirchhoff helped secure a 52-40 victory over Harlan in a Class 3A Region 5 semifinal matchup.
Harlan started strong, taking a 7-0 lead early in the game, but Atlantic quickly rallied. Kirchhoff led the Trojans with 21 points, flipping the momentum in the second quarter and maintaining control throughout the game. Paytn Harter added another 17 points, demonstrating a powerful second-half performance.
Gracie Albertson was Harlan's top scorer with 13 points. Despite some strong moments from the Cyclones, they couldn’t regain the lead after halftime as Atlantic's control deepened.
