The Atlantic Trojans softball team celebrated a successful weekend, winning their fourth straight game with impressive victories against Denison-Schleswig. The Trojans secured a 6-0 win in the first game of a Saturday doubleheader, thanks to a standout performance by sophomore Peyton McLaren, who pitched a complete-game shutout, striking out eight batters.
In the second game, the Atlantic offense exploded, with every player in the lineup contributing to a 13-3 victory. Coach Terry Hinzmann praised the team’s improved hitting, which included a late-game scoring surge that sealed the win.
