The Atlantic volleyball team delivered a strong performance against Harlan last Thursday, winning in straight sets during a Hawkeye Ten Conference match. The final scores were 25-15, 25-16, and 25-18.
Harlan initially took an early lead in the first set, but Atlantic quickly regained control, thanks in part to a remarkable 8-0 run fueled by ace serves from Reese Harlan.
Atlantic’s Coach Alyssa Boltz credited her team's solid defense, especially from back row players Claire Schroder and Taylee Hagen, who played key roles in keeping the rally alive.
The second set saw Atlantic pull away after a brief back-and-forth, while the third set was more competitive, yet Atlantic managed to maintain their edge.
