Raymond (Buzz) Finn Jr., a beloved former Harlan resident, passed away on April 28, 2025, in Littleton, Colorado, at the age of 90. Born on July 18, 1934, in Harlan, he was the son of Raymond and Elva Finn.
Buzz is survived by his wife, Linda, and his children: Deborah, Mimi, Raymond III, and David, along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet, and other family members.
A dedicated dentist, Buzz graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and served in the U.S. Air Force. He had a successful career in oral surgery in eastern Iowa and was an active member of various dental and sports organizations.
In retirement, Buzz enjoyed volunteering and was passionate about outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and skiing. A celebration of his life is planned for Fall 2025 at the Alpine Club.
