Connie Kay Christensen, a native of Harlan, Iowa, passed away on May 7, 2025, in South Chesterfield, Virginia, at the age of 78. Born on August 15, 1946, she was the beloved daughter of Lewis and Virginia Nelson.
Connie was well-known in her community, having worked at Food Pride for many years until her retirement. She was cherished for her warmth, creativity, and deep love for her family, particularly her grandchildren, Connor, Daniel, and Hayley.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerald John Christensen, and her brothers, Brian and Bruce Nelson. Connie is survived by her son, Jarrod Christensen, and brother, Todd Nelson.
Her family remembers her fondly for her passion for crocheting, cooking, and baking. She will be greatly missed.
