Celebration of Life Planned for Harlan’s Colton Fondren
Join the Harlan community in honoring the life of Colton Fondren, who touched many hearts during his time with us. Celebrate his legacy on October 27 at Podunk Bar and Grill, and remember the joyful moments he shared with family and friends.
Colton Seber Fondren, a beloved member of our community, passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 26 in Omaha, Nebraska. Originally from Claremore, Oklahoma, he was raised in Stroud, where he thrived in sports and debate.
A dedicated worker, Colton had jobs as a security guard and at Powers Tree Service and Monogram in Iowa. In May 2024, he returned to Stroud to work with his close friend at EnviroServe, strengthening his ties to his community.
Colton is remembered for his kind heart and commitment to family, often caring for his great-grandmother and great-aunt. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners.
He is survived by his aunt and several close friends, alongside many family members. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for October 27, 2024, at Podunk Bar and Grill in Panama, with another service in Chandler, Oklahoma, later in October.
