Community Comes Together to Honor Ella Mae Staiert
Harlan comes together to celebrate the incredible life of Ella Mae Staiert, who touched many hearts at 98. Join friends and family for visitation, a rosary, and a Mass of Christian Burial, as we honor a cherished community member and her lasting legacy.
Harlan residents are invited to pay their respects to Ella Mae Staiert, who passed away at the age of 98. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 30, from 1-8 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan, with family greeting friends from 5-8 p.m. A rosary will also be held at 7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Harlan, followed by burial at the Harlan Cemetery.
Ella Mae is survived by her children and many grandchildren, with family spanning across various states including Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas.
