Community Invites Remembrance for Dexter Schroeder
Join the Harlan community in honoring the life of Dexter Schroeder, an esteemed resident who passed away in 2006. Visitation is Wednesday at Pauley Jones Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service on Thursday. Pay your respects and celebrate his legacy.
Dexter Adolph Schroeder, aged 84, of Harlan, IA, passed away on May 22, 2006. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Ione Schroeder, along with their daughters Judy Schroeder from Omaha, Nancy Peterson of Fremont, NE, and Jane Burger from Las Vegas, NV. Their son, David Schroeder, resides in Woodbury, MN. Dexter also leaves behind two brothers, Lloyd Schroeder and Howard Schroeder, as well as six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 8 AM to 9 PM, with family present from 6 to 8 PM at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Walnut. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday at 11 AM at the Congregational United Church, followed by interment at Harlan Cemetery.
