Community Mourns Loss of Harlan's Bronson Shoultz
The Harlan community is mourning the unexpected loss of 19-year-old Bronson Shoultz, who tragically passed away in Davenport. Remembered for his kindness and talent, his family invites everyone to honor his legacy through stories and donations to Batting for Kids.
Harlan resident Mollie Hack is mourning the loss of her brother, Bronson Shoultz, who passed away unexpectedly in Davenport on November 15, 2024. The 19-year-old tragically lost his life after inadvertently taking a lethal substance.
Bronson was remembered as a kind and talented individual, known for his encouragement towards others. He graduated from Davenport Central High School in 2023 and had plans to begin an HVAC apprenticeship next spring. His work history included roles at FedEx, Amazon, and Walmart.
Funeral services are scheduled for 6 p.m. on November 22 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, with visitation from 4 to 6 p.m.
Bronson leaves behind a loving family, including his mother Angela Ryan and sister Mollie Hack of Harlan, as well as many other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
The family invites the community to honor Bronson’s legacy by sharing stories and condolences on the funeral home's website. In lieu of flowers, they are requesting donations to Batting for Kids, a local organization supporting families in need.
