Nickolas John Hess, a longtime resident of Harlan, Iowa, passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 65.
His family will hold a visitation on Saturday, November 15, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.
Nickolas is remembered by his wife, Lisa; and his children, including Candi and Mindy Hess from Fulton, Missouri; Brad (Katelyn) Hess and Brandon (April) Hess from Harlan, and Lexee (Tyler) Hess from Clarksville. He also leaves behind step-children Scott Swank and Emily Swank, 7 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way.
His step-father, Mike Durnan of Arlington, and siblings Don Dales, Rhonda Dales, and Grace Durnan, along with numerous relatives and friends, will also remember him fondly.
