Cyclones Girls Golf Team Prepares for Promising Season
As the Harlan Community High School Cyclones girls golf team prepares for their upcoming season, they face the dual challenges of a small roster and Iowa's unpredictable weather. With senior Macy Mueller leading the charge, excitement is in the air. Discover what lies ahead!

The Harlan Community High School Cyclones girls golf team is gearing up for a promising season, despite a small roster and some new players. Head Coach Todd Bladt emphasized the challenges of Iowa's unpredictable weather and the steep learning curve for beginners.
Last year, the team celebrated victories against Clarinda and Denison and secured a first-place finish in a triangular meet with Boyer Valley and IKM-Manning. Senior Macy Mueller, who narrowly missed winning conference last season, is expected to lead the squad with her experience and focus.
The Cyclones will kick off their season on April 14 against Lewis Central, St. Albert, and Heartland Christian, with a tournament at the Shenandoah Golf Course on April 17 featuring 14 schools. Coach Bladt is optimistic about the season and looks forward to the unique challenges ahead.
