The HCHS Cyclones boys golf team is gearing up for a promising season at the Harlan Golf & Country Club. With warmer weather on the way, head coach Chad Swanson is confident that his team is ready to shine.
Practices have been focused on improving skills, particularly short irons and chipping, as players adjust to the course conditions. The Cyclones are coming off a successful season where they finished second in a triangular meet against Heartland Christian and Lewis Central.
Returning star Jonas Reynolds is expected to lead the team this year, alongside Owen Neve, both bringing valuable varsity experience.
The Cyclones face their first match on April 7 at Manning Manilla Golf Course, competing against Underwood and IKM-Manning. This year, they'll play a 3A schedule following Lewis Central's move to 4A.
Residents can look forward to supporting the Cyclones as they hit the greens. For more details on the team's preparations and upcoming matches, visit the original article.
