The HCHS Cyclones girls basketball team celebrated a strong 63-57 victory against the Kuemper Catholic Knights in Carroll, following a previous win over the Atlantic Trojans. Cyclones Head Coach Zach Klaassen highlighted a solid first quarter, ending with a 19-12 lead. However, the team faced challenges in rebounding, allowing the Knights to close the gap by halftime, leading 34-26.

Four Cyclone players scored in double figures, with Aubrey Schwieso leading the charge with 15 points, followed closely by Kenzley Bruck with 13, Grace Albertsen with 12, and Molly Swensen with 10. Coach Klaassen expressed satisfaction with their shooting, noting several key 3-pointers.

Despite a strong effort from the Knights in the fourth quarter, the Cyclones managed to secure their 10th win of the season. They look forward to their next game against the Blair Bears this Friday at home.
