    Harlan's Cyclones cross country team is gearing up for a strong performance at the 3A state meet in Fort Dodge. Junior Jeffrey Gross will compete individually after overcoming injuries that affected him last season. Coach Zach Klassen expresses confidence in his ability to perform well.
On the girls' side, the Cyclones are ranked 12th in Class 3A, with sophomore Ashlyn Rau aiming to earn all-state honors after narrowly missing out last year. Freshman Julia Heslink has also been a standout this season.
The girls' race is scheduled for 2 PM, followed by the boys' race at 2:45 PM on Friday. The top three teams will earn recognition on the podium, with Pella expected to be a strong contender.
