Harlan Cyclones Wrestlers Gear Up for State Tournament Showdown

Four Harlan Cyclones wrestlers are set to compete at the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament this Wednesday. Sophomore Brody Bendorf (175 lbs) is making a strong comeback after injuries, sporting a 25-9 record. He will face Brock Vayna from Crestwood in Round One.

Also representing Harlan is Chayton Snethen (157 lbs), a transfer from Audubon with a 34-21 record. He’s set to face 9th-ranked Clayton Seaba of Clarion Goldfield Dows.

Senior Brody McKinley (150 lbs) enters the competition with a record of 40-12, battling Logan Boehm in what promises to be a challenging bout.

The highest-seeded Cyclone, Jesse Jens, holds an impressive 48-2 record, coming into the tournament as the 8th seed with a first-round bye.
