Harlan Girls' Basketball Triumphs in Playoffs, 70-25 Victory

KMAland's girls' basketball regional first round saw strong performances from teams in our area, including Harlan, which dominated Red Oak 70-25.

Molly Swensen led Harlan with 20 points, supported by Grace Albertsen, who scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, tying the school record for single-season rebounds at 218. Aubrey Schwieso added 14 points to the impressive team effort.

Other local highlights included AHSTW defeating West Monona 60-37, and Tri-Center edging Logan-Magnolia 57-50. Atlantic also secured a victory, beating Clarinda 51-35.

These wins propel our local teams further in the state playoffs, showcasing the talent and determination of athletes from Harlan and surrounding areas.
