Harlan Girls Cross Country Earns Fifth Season Victory
The Harlan girls cross country team shined in Denison, clinching their fifth victory this season with a stellar score of 32 points. Sophomore Ashlyn Rau captivated the crowd with her first-place finish, showing the Cyclones are primed for success.

The Harlan girls cross country team continues to impress, securing their fifth victory of the season at a meet in Denison on Tuesday night. The Cyclones finished with an impressive 32 points, well ahead of second-place Tri Center with 65 points.
Sophomore Ashlyn Rau led the team, finishing first with a time of 20:09.08, followed closely by freshman Julia Heslink in second at 21:08.04. Additional top ten finishes for Harlan came from Aspen Bieker in ninth place and Ava Freund in twelfth.
On the boys’ side, Haven Weers from Tri Center took home first place with a time of 17:07.90, while Harlan’s junior Jeffrey Gross finished fourth.
