The Harlan girls' cross country team triumphed at the Hawkeye Ten Cross Country Meet held in Shenandoah on October 16. With a total of 53 points, they secured the team title, showcasing impressive performances from their runners.

Ashlyn Rau and Julia Heslink led the way, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively. Other notable finishes included Aspen Bieker, Josie Sunderman, and Ava Freund, who placed 15th, 18th, and 22nd, respectively.

Glenwood took second place with 65 points, while Atlantic finished third with 88 points. Lili Denton of St. Albert won the individual title, maintaining her undefeated season with a time of 18:15.63.

This victory marks a significant achievement for Harlan's athletic program and highlights the dedication of the young athletes.
