Harlan Girls Cross Country Team Claims Third at Atlantic Meet

The Atlantic Cross Country Meet showcased impressive performances, with Harlan’s girls team taking third place overall.

Held at the scenic Nishna Hills Golf Course, the meet featured standout runners like Lilli Denton of St. Albert, who won the race decisively. Harlan's Ashlyn Rau and Julia Heslink placed 4th and 6th, respectively, helping the team secure their top-three finish.

Harlan's team score was 87 points, while Lincoln Pius X claimed the win with 43 points and Treynor followed in second with 80 points. The Atlantic girls finished sixth, with senior Katrina Williams leading the team in 16th place.

Coach Dan Vargason commended the athletes for their consistent efforts throughout the race.
