Harlan's girls cross country team showcased their talent by clinching the team title at the Glenwood Cross Country Invite this past Saturday.
The Cyclones finished with a score of 50 points, narrowly defeating Lewis Central and Glenwood, who scored 57 and 59 points, respectively.
Senior Lindsay Sonderman led Harlan with an impressive runner-up finish, recording a time of 18:20.20. Freshman Ashlyn Rau also had a strong performance, finishing sixth, while Brylee Schechinger, Allie Andersen, and Aspen Bieker rounded out the team's top finishes in 11th, 15th, and 18th places.
In other highlights, Lewis Central's Delayna Reese and Glenwood's Grace Berglund both finished in the top five, marking a competitive day overall among the eleven teams that participated.
