The Harlan Girls Track and Field team is gearing up for a strong finish to their season as they head into two important meets this week. After a standout performance last Tuesday in Missouri Valley, the Cyclones are set to compete in Atlantic tonight, followed by the Hawkeye Ten Conference meet later this week.
Lindsey Sonderman is leading the team with impressive records in the 1500 and 3000 meters and has qualified for the Drake Relays, achieving top placements in both events. Freshman Ashlyn Rau is also making waves, recently posting a personal record in the 3000 and ranking third in school history.
Head Coach Jenny Hamilton is keen to finalize the relay line-ups, with the team achieving season-best times in several relay events last week.
