Harlan’s girls wrestling team showcased their talent at the recent Eitzmann Invite in Tabor, Iowa, where they competed against schools including Clarinda and Audubon.

The event saw Clarinda emerging victorious, with Audubon finishing second and claiming three individual championships.

Harlan had a smaller contingent of just four wrestlers, but they made their mark. Elle Stephens clinched the title at 125 pounds with a perfect record of 2-0, both wins by fall. Hallie Lopez secured a third-place finish at 170 pounds, while Krysten Madden also took third place at 135 pounds. Annaleigh Sheehan came in fourth at 105 pounds.

In team standings, Harlan secured sixth place with a total of 38 points, reflecting a promising performance amidst fierce competition.
