Harlan Native Shines in Agricultural Media Landscape

Anna Bethany, a Harlan native, is making waves in agricultural reporting. Growing up on a family farm near Harlan, Iowa, Anna developed a passion for the field through her involvement in the Iowa FFA’s Agricultural Broadcasting Career Development Event.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Media from Northwest Missouri State and went on to become the Digital Editor and Farm Broadcaster for the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network in Des Moines. There, she produced news and market reports and managed digital content.

Before her current role at AgriAmerica, Anna was the Director of Communications for the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, focusing on digital marketing and public relations.

Now based in Ames with her husband Chase, Anna continues to represent the strong agricultural roots of her hometown. Harlan residents can take pride in her achievements in the agricultural media landscape.
