Harlan Track Teams Finish Fourth at Carroll Early Bird

Harlan turned in a steady opening-night performance at the Carroll Co-Ed Early Bird Meet, with both Cyclone teams finishing fourth.

The Harlan girls scored 76 points to take fourth, while the boys also posted 76 points for a fourth-place finish. Glenwood won both team championships.

The top finish for Harlan came in the boys 4x200 relay, where Sam Shields, Foxx Argotsinger, Landon Nihsen, and Hagen Sorensen claimed first in 1:34.33.

Other boys highlights included runner-up finishes from Jeffrey Gross in the 1600 and 3200, Carson Tedrow in the 400 hurdles, and Erik Heslink in the 800. Sorensen also added a third-place finish in the 100.

On the girls side, Ashlyn Rau, Sadie Alberti, and Brinley Van Baale each earned second-place finishes, while Aubree Wegner placed third in the 200.
