Harlan Track Teams Shine at Carroll Meet

Harlan's track teams showed strong performances at the Carroll Early Bird meet, with the girls finishing a commendable second place overall.

The Cyclone girls secured four wins, led by Lindsey Sonderman, who took first in the 1500 meters and anchored the victorious Distance Medley Relay. Other standout athletes included Jaylee Schmitz, who won the 100 hurdles, and Aspen Bieker, who triumphed in the 400 meters.

The boys' team faced tough competition but had notable highlights as well, with Jeffrey Gross winning the 3200 meters and finishing third in the 1600. The boys' Sprint Medley Relay also claimed second place.

Overall, the girls scored 105 points, while the boys totaled 72 points, both showing great potential as the season progresses.
