Harlan Trap Shooting Team Welcomes New Rookies for Thrilling Season
Excitement is in the air for Harlan's Trap Shooting team as they kick off a new season with twelve eager rookies! With promising mentorship from returning middle schoolers and a notable home meet on April 5, this season is set to be one for the books.

The Harlan Trap Shooting team is gearing up for an exciting new season. Head Coach Jason Paulsen expressed enthusiasm about returning members and a strong influx of new talent, with twelve rookies joining the squad this year.
Last season ended on a high note, as the team participated in several state competitions, bringing home multiple medals and trophies, which has boosted morale and set expectations high for the current season.
With many young athletes on the roster, Coach Paulsen recognizes the challenges ahead but is optimistic about the potential of returning middle school students to mentor the newcomers. Notably, seventh and eighth graders like Camden Heese, Dalton Bradley, and Joel Gross are stepping up to support their younger counterparts.
The season will feature a key home meet on April 5, followed by a sporting place shoot on May 30, marking the first time such an event will be held at their local range. These events promise to be significant for both team performance and community engagement.
