Harlan's Hayden Soma Signs with Iowa Central Community College

Harlan catcher Hayden Soma is set to join the baseball program at Iowa Central Community College, strengthening the connection between Harlan and the college.

Soma’s journey began with a text from a friend, leading him to connect with ICCC head coach Eric Stein, who is also a Harlan alum. After visiting the campus, Soma was impressed with the facilities and made his decision to play there for the next two years.

During his junior year, Soma achieved significant success, driving in a team-high 34 runs and contributing to the Cyclones' 27-win season, which included a trip to the state tournament.

With support from his coaches, Soma has developed his skills over the past three years and is excited about taking his game to the next level.
