Molly Swensen, a standout from Harlan High School's girls basketball team, has committed to continue her athletic career at Morningside College in Sioux City. Swensen expressed her excitement after visiting the campus, stating that she loved the small-town atmosphere, the support from teammates, and the guidance from coaches.

During her senior season, she made an impressive 56 three-pointers and was recognized as one of the top defenders in the Hawkeye Ten, racking up 87 steals and earning KMA Sports’ All-Defense honors.

Swensen joins fellow Harlan seniors Aubrey Schwieso and Grace Albertsen, who have also made commitments to play at the collegiate level, highlighting the strong basketball culture in Harlan.
