Former Harlan athlete Stephen Leinen has received recognition as the Great Plains Athletic Conference's Special Teams Player of the Week. Currently a junior at Dordt College, Leinen showcased his talent during a recent game against Dakota Wesleyan, where he successfully converted all nine extra point attempts and kicked a 28-yard field goal.
His impressive performance contributed to a decisive 66-7 victory, and he tied a school record by scoring a total of 12 kicking points in the match.
