Harlan's Weston Reisz Rises to Doane Baseball Opportunity

Harlan Community High School senior, Weston Reisz, is set to take his baseball talents to Doane University in Crete, Nebraska. Reisz shared his excitement, stating that pursuing this opportunity has been a lifelong dream.

He expressed appreciation for the support he received from HCHS coaches, Heath Stein and Dillon Sears, who played a significant role in his development as a player. Reisz also acknowledged the encouragement from his parents, Kari and John, for helping him reach this milestone.

In his junior year, Reisz showcased impressive statistics on the mound with 33 strikeouts over 33.2 innings, and he contributed significantly as a hitter. As he looks forward to his final season with the Cyclones, he hopes to lead the team to another state run, starting the season on May 19 against the Sioux City North Stars.
