Harlan residents can look forward to a cherished holiday tradition making its return this December. On Saturday, December 7, the Western Iowa Arts Association (WIAA) and Harlan Community Theatre will present “Home for the Holidays” at Faith Family Church starting at 7 p.m.
This festive Christmas Variety Show will showcase a community choir, a children’s choir, and numerous solo and duet performances, along with entertaining skits. Tony Buman, part of the production team, expressed excitement about the impressive talent involved.
“Home for the Holidays” enjoyed popularity from 1991 to 2012, and Buman is thrilled it’s coming back after a hiatus. “It brings back fond memories for everyone,” he remarked, hoping it will become an annual event once again.
Tickets can be purchased at Milk & Honey in Harlan, at the door on the night of the show, or online at cur8.com.
