Jonas Reynolds Shines as Harlan's Golf Star

Harlan's very own Jonas Reynolds is making his mark on the golf course this season as the top player for the Harlan Boys Golf team. With impressive averages now just below 40, Reynolds is ranked among the top ten players in the competitive Hawkeye Ten Conference.

Last year, Reynolds faced challenges, finishing with a solid 43.59 average but yearning for more success. This season, he credits improvements in his short game for his rise in performance. He has deep roots in the sport, having been introduced to golf by his father and mentored by his grandfather, a former golf coach.

The competition in the Hawkeye Ten is fierce, with strong teams like St. Albert, Atlantic, and Clarinda challenging Harlan's quest for success. Reynolds is determined to prove himself on the big stage, dreaming of reaching the state tournament for the first time.

Today, Harlan will compete in the Monarch Invitational at Majestic Hills Golf Course, hosted by Denison Schleswig. For more details and insights from Reynolds, check out the full article.
