Local Leaders Take Helm at Heartland Funeral Homes

Heartland Funeral Homes in Harlan has entered a new era as Tina Bartelson and Danielle Mikels officially took ownership in September 2024. The duo, both with strong community ties, is committed to honoring the tradition of compassionate care that the funeral home is known for.

Tina, a resident outside Irwin, and Danielle, a 2009 Harlan High School graduate, expressed their dedication to the local communities. They plan to maintain the high standards set by previous owners while exploring new ways to enhance services.
