Myrtue Medical Center Welcomes Dr. Christopher Gartin and Robotic-Assisted Surgery

Myrtue Medical Center is expanding its surgical services with the addition of Dr. Christopher Gartin, MD, a general surgeon with expertise in robotic-assisted procedures. Dr. Gartin, who trained at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his residency at the University of Kansas-Wichita, brings years of experience in general surgery. He has been practicing at Fremont Methodist Health since 2017.

Dr. Gartin specializes in a range of procedures, including hernia repair, gallbladder and colon surgeries, and skin lesion removal. His expertise in robotic-assisted surgery will complement Myrtue’s investment in the da Vinci surgical system, which enhances precision, reduces recovery times, and improves patient outcomes.

“My goal is to ensure every patient feels heard and confident in their care,” said Dr. Gartin. He will begin seeing patients at Myrtue’s Surgery & Specialty Clinic on February 24, 2025.
