Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic in Kansas is currently in search of a new CEO after the announcement that Kile Magner, who has served in the role since 2015, will be stepping down to lead Myrtue Medical Hospital in Harlan, Iowa, at the end of 2025.
In the meantime, the hospital has appointed Summer Zink, CFO, and Jill Ritchie, Chief Nursing Officer, as co-interim CEOs to ensure a smooth transition. They will oversee both administrative and clinical operations respectively.
Board President David Gonzales expressed confidence in the current leadership team and reassured the community that the hospital remains focused on delivering high-quality care while searching for a permanent replacement for Magner.
