Cities such as Chariton, Grinnell, Clarinda, Des Moines, and Harlan all reported more than an inch of rain. The heaviest rainfall was observed in Chariton with 1.45 inches, followed by Grinnell at 1.40 inches. Radar estimates suggest that southern Iowa experienced between 1 to 3 inches of rain.
