Remembering Charles Edwin Ramsey: A Legacy of Faith and Family

Charles Edwin Ramsey, 91, passed away recently and is fondly remembered by his family and friends. Born on June 1, 1933, in Jamesport, Missouri, he had a diverse career that included roles in Christian education and banking.

Charles graduated from Bob Jones University and had a passion for learning, earning multiple master’s degrees. He dedicated much of his life to ministry, serving in Christian schools across Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.

In his later years, Charles lived with his daughter Marilyn and her family in Harlan, Iowa, where he made lasting memories. After Bonnie, his wife, passed away, he continued to impact many lives until his health declined.

He is survived by four children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions in his name can be made to Samaritan's Purse.

Graveside services will be held on March 12, 2025, at Pilot Grove #2 Cemetery, near Jamesport, with a visitation prior at Stith Funeral Home & Crematory.
