William Francis Rosman, a Harlan native, passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by family.
Born on April 1, 1948, in Harlan to Myron and Veronica Rosman, Bill graduated from St. Albert's in Council Bluffs. He married Janice Friesen in 1968 and later wed Kathryn Drybread in 1988.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn and their children: Nicholas, Thomas, Teri, and Chris, along with his stepchildren Ryan, Jason, and Julie. Bill also leaves behind a sister, two brothers, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on December 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, with a Memory Sharing Service at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on December 9 at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service at Omaha National Cemetery.
