The Atlantic-Harlan baseball-softball doubleheader saw dominant second innings lead to decisive outcomes for both teams.
HARLAN – The Atlantic-Harlan doubleheader on Thursday saw explosive second innings that decided both games. For the Trojan softball team, a six-run second inning, highlighted by Lila Wiederstein's two-run home run, led to an 11-1 victory. Claire Schroder's perfect 3-for-3 performance and stellar defensive plays were key factors. The win brings Atlantic’s record to 20-12.
Conversely, the Atlantic baseball team suffered a tough loss as Harlan's six-run second inning paved the way to a 15-0 defeat. Despite Colin Rudy’s two hits, Atlantic couldn't gain momentum and fell to 1-15 on the season.
