Myrtue Medical Center in Shelby County has announced the arrival of the first baby born in 2025. Baylor William Osbahr entered the world on January 3, weighing a healthy 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

Baylor is the son of Brandon and Kynzie Osbahr from nearby Avoca. He joins his older sister, Berklee, who is one and a half years old.

The little one is surrounded by a loving family, including grandparents Bill and Amy Osbahr, as well as Kyle and Heather Fichter. Great-grandparents Leroy and Peggy Osbahr, Stan and Sue Messerschmidt, Scott Kemp, and Peggy Fueling are also part of his extended family.
